Michael F. Bisceglia, Jr., 65, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 1, 2009, in his home. He leaves his loving wife, Sharyn E. (Rich) Bisceglia; two daughters, Karyn M. Bisceglia of Worcester and Diane M. Senior and her husband Shane K. Senior of Auburn; his mother, Domenica M. (Ciampaglia) Bisceglia of Worcester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Rosemary Bisceglia. Michael was born in Worcester, the son of Michael F. Bisceglia, Sr., and has lived here all his life. He graduated from Commerce High School, and then served his nation proudly in the United States Navy. Mr. Bisceglia worked for many years at Coppus Engineering, before he retired. He was a member of Saint John's Church. Michael cherished his family. He enjoyed nothing so much as sharing special moments together with them, as only family could. He was also very proud of his Italian family heritage. The funeral for Michael will be held Tuesday, January 6, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Saint John's Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, MA. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Monday, January 5, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
