Victoria (Dell'Aquila) Zaparaska, 81 of Lynn formerly of Worcester passed away Saturday, December 27th 2008 in her home after being stricken ill. Victoria's husband of 32 years Anthony Zaparaska passed away in 1987. She is survived by four brothers, Joseph Dell'Aquila and his wife Lorraine of Largo, FL, Michael Dell'Aquila and his wife Theresa of Auburn, Raymond Dell'Aquila and his wife Eleanor of Westfield, Fiore Dell'Aquila and his wife Carol of Worcester; a sister, Rosemary Flagg and her husband Arthur of West Boylston; many nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Lawrence, Dominic and Santo Dell'Aquila Jr., and three sisters, Jennie Silva, Catherine Santoro and Josephine Rickheit all pre deceased her. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Santo and Katherine (Tozzi) Dell'Aquila. Victoria grew up in Worcester, graduated from Commerce High and has lived in Lynn since 1962. Victoria worked for North American Phillips Company 17 years before retiring. She previously worked for General Baking Company-Bond Bread and Purity Supreme Bakery. Victoria was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan. She loved to play bingo, and cribbage. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and crocheting afghan blankets for her family and friends. Victoria greatly appreciated her wonderful neighbors, who were always there to help and care for her. Victoria's funeral will be held Tuesday, December 30th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow next to her husband in St. John's Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Tuesday, December 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral.
