Janie A Belsito

Janie A. (McGue) Belsito, 60, of Leicester passed away Monday, December 15th 2008 in her home after being stricken ill. Janie is survived by her husband of 25 years John L. Belsito; three daughters, Wendy Crowley of Bellingham, Tracy Glockner of Rochdale, and Shannon Belsito of Worcester; four grandchildren, Eric, Hailie, Leah, and Brandy; her beloved cat Billy; many nieces, nephews, and friends. A brother Joseph and a sister Joanie McGue pre deceased her. She was born in Dorchester a daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Kapler) McGue. She grew up in Franklin and has lived in Leicester for more than 21 years. Janie worked as a Nurse Aide, many years for various nursing homes in the area. Janie was a very family oriented woman who cherished the moments she spent with them. Her grandchildren were her life. She loved animals, dancing and giving of her time to others. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 21st at 2 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A period of calling hours will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior in the funeral.
