Edith M. Borraccino

Edith M. (Larson) Borraccino, 84, of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday December 17, 2008 in the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester. Her husband Ernest Borraccino Jr. died in 2001. Edith is survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, and several in laws of the Borraccino family. She was born in Worcester daughter Egnar and Gertrude (Lindstrom) Larson and lived here all her life. She attended Worcester Public Schools. Edith was a dispatcher for the Worcester Police Department for many years before she retired. Previous to that she worked at Worcester City Hall. She was a former member of St Stephen and St Joan Of Arc Parish. Edith enjoyed being with her family and will be missed by her family and friends. A funeral service for Edith will be held Saturday at 10:15 AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A calling hour will be held from 9AM to 10AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
