Mario Valenti, of Rochdale passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 9, 2008, eighty two years to the day of his birth after suffering a series of strokes. Mario was born December 9th 1935, in Worcester a son of Loreto and Adelaida (DeAngelis) Valenti. He attended Worcester Public Schools, served in the South Pacific with U.S. Navy during World War II and has lived here most of his life. Mario is survived by three brothers, Armand Valenti in Florida, John Valenti of Milford and James Valenti of South Yarmouth. Many nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Sally Valanti, Helen Hastings, and Mary DiVerdi and two brothers, Louis and Frank Valenti all pre deceased him. Mario worked as a carpenter in the Worcester Area for many years before retiring. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
