John F. "Jackie" Maddalena, 52, of Mill Street in Worcester, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008. He was born in Worcester, the son of John J. and Kathleen T. (Leary) Maddalena, and graduated from both Worcester Industrial Technical Institute and Worcester Junior College. Jackie served his nation proudly in The United States Navy. He worked for many years as a surveyor around the Worcester area, and for a short time in Las Vegas. He is survived by an uncle, Raymond Paradis; cousins, Kathleen Linde, Jean Boucher, Nancy Brunelle, Carol Sullivan, Thomas Paradis, Donna Ostrowski, and Chistina Devanney. A Memorial Mass will be held Sat. Dec. 13, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton Street, Worcester. He will be interred with his parents at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
