WORCESTER - Teresa B. "Terry" (Kaminski) Scaglione, 88, of 127 Alvarado Ave., passed away peacefully in her home, Wednesday, November 26th 2008 surrounded by her family after a prolonged illness. Scaglione all of Worcester, Anthony F. and Dominic J. Scaglione both of Warren, VT; many nieces, nephews and friends. Her son, William "Buddy" Scaglione passed away in 2004; two brothers, John and Joseph Kaminski, and four sisters, Irene Phelan, Jennie Maciak, Lillian Collier, and Catherine Menard all pre deceased her. Born in Worcester, Teresa was a daughter of the late Jozef and Anna (Bogumil) Kaminski, immigrants from the province of Lomza, Poland, and has lived here all her life. A graduate of Commerce High School and the Worcester School of Business Science, Terry was a much loved and dedicated employee for nearly 50 years at Parker Manufacturing. She began her career there as an Assembler and later served as Timekeeper, Payroll and Shipping Clerk, Estimator, and as interim Private Secretary to the Vice President. She was even offered the position of Personnel Manager, but politely declined so she could enjoy more time with her children during their summer vacations from school. Terry was a member of St. Anne's Parish, Shrewsbury and a long time active parishioner of the former St. Margaret Mary's, Worcester. A woman of deep faith, love and kindness, she will be remembered most of all as a sweet wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and neighbor. Terry was a joy to all who came in contact with her and delighted in spending time with family and friends. Her warm smile, sparkling blue eyes and laughter will be a source of comfort to all who remember her. The funeral will be held Monday, December 1st from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury.
