Antonio "Tony" F. Tarallo, 78, of Prairie Schooner Trail in Brookfield, passed away, Friday, November 7, 2008, in the Rose Monahan Hospice. His wife of twenty seven years, Marjorie M. (Dean) Tarallo, passed away last year. He is survived by a son, Anthony Tarallo of Leominster; two daughters, Joanne Tarallo of Southbridge and Deborah Dawson and her husband David of Millbury; a brother, Donald Tarallo of Fitchburg; two sisters, Grace Feeley and Marie Stearns both of Worcester; six grandchildren, Michelle, Andre, Jenelle, Melissa, Priscilla, and Nicholas; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Tony was born in Worcester, the son of Antonio and Josephine (Bianco) Tarallo, and graduated from Commerce High School. He then served his nation during the Korean Conflict, in The United States Army, in the 27th Artillery Division. Mr. Tarallo worked for over twenty five years in the maintenance department at the Worcester Housing Authority, retiring in 1990. He also operated a painting and wallpapering business. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Mass Retirees, and enjoyed fishing and boating. A funeral service for Tony will be held Sunday evening, November 9, at 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
