Doris E. Harvey- Giannette, 63, of Worcester formerly of Auburn died unexpectedly Friday October 24, 2008 in the Autumn Village. She is survived by her loving family: A daughter Tracy M. Giannette of Worcester, a son Robert "Zakk" Giannette of the Millbury Firefighters Engine #3, and his wife Karen of Millbury, two sisters Rose Tiscione of Worcester and Barbara Branham of Florida, her former husband Robert Giannette of Worcester, five grandchildren Joshua, Krystal, Belle, Mindy, and Gianna, and several nephews and nieces. Doris was born in Worcester daughter of Clarence and Loretta (Minette) Harvey and lived in Auburn most of her life. She attended Auburn High School and the former Brom's Hair Styling Academy. Doris worked for the Reliable Oil Company for many years before she retired. She also worked as a cashier at the Jackpot Junction Casino in Minnesota for several years. Doris was a former member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn. She was an avid writer especially of Poetry, and loved to cook. She ejoyed being with her family and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A funeral service for Doris will be held Wednesday evening at 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 5PM to 7PM. Interment services will be at the families convenience.
