Yvette C. (LeBlanc) Dumas, 92, formerly of Alvarado Ave. passed away Thursday, October 23rd 2008, in St. Francis Home with family by her side. Yvette's husband Eugene Dumas passed away in 1988. She is survived by her devoted children; Claire Geoffrion and her husband Paul of Oxford, Robert E. Dumas and his wife Maryanne of Enfield CT, Joan Tibbett's and her husband Ron of Webster, Shirley Baker and her husband Charles of Melbourne Florida; ten cherished grandchildren, Patty, Paul, Robert, Barbara, Danyal, Alan, Chris, Michael, Michelle and Alex; fourteen adored great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter; a brother, Gerard Leblanc in Florida; many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Bertrand and Marcel LeBlanc and two sisters, Irene LeBlanc and Simonne Jolicouer pre deceased her. Born in Montreal, Canada she was the daughter of Albert and Aurure (Blain) LeBlanc. She graduated from St. Joseph's school and Commerce High School and has lived here all her life. Yvette worked many years as a printer for Ed Massei Printing before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the former St. Margaret Mary Church. A family oriented mother, grandmother and friend, she cherished the times she spent with her family and loved to play cards. Yvette's funeral will be held Monday, October 27th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, St Joseph Church, 44 Hamilton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Sunday, October 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
