Stephanie LaFlash-Surabian

Stephanie LaFlash-Surabian, 29, of Worcester, devoted mother, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 13th 2008 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with brain cancer. Stephanie is survived by the love of her life, her son Devin R. Peterson of Worcester; her devoted mother and stepfather, Pauline (LaFlash) and Mark Billings with whom she lived; her father, Steven Surabian of Hyannisport; two beloved sisters, Angela M. and Tara M. Billings both of Worcester; her paternal grandfather, Martin Surabian of Hyannisport; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephanie was born in Worcester, attended South High school and graduated from the Salter's School. Stephanie worked as a personal banker for Citizen's Bank in Hyannis before retiring in 2004 due to her illness. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Stephanie will be remembered for her strength, courage, and will to live. Stephanie's funeral will be held Thursday, October 16th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peters Church, Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Wednesday, October 15th in the funeral home.
