Will H. Huber, 85 of Westboro formerly of Worcester passed away Friday, October 3rd in the Beaumont skilled nursing and rehab center surrounded by family. Will is survived by his companion of 35 years, Rita Dunlop with whom he lived; a daughter, Sheri Carlomusto and her husband Stephen of Cranston, R.I. two granddaughters, Leah Soule and Iris Carlomusto; a sister, Wilburta Huber in CT; nieces, nephews and extended family including, Richard Dunlop and his wife Brenda of Dudley and their son Sage. A brother, Jack Huber, a sister, Dr. Betty Thaker and Rita's son William Dunlop, pre deceased him. Will was born in Orange N.J. a son of Wilbur and Eva (Schwink) Huber; He graduated from Meriden High School, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, taking part in the Battle of the Bulge. Will then graduated from Post Junior College in CT. in 1947. He lived many years in Worcester before moving to Westborough. Will owned and operated several cabs for Arrow Cab Company before retiring. He also drove for Yellow Cab Company. He previously worked as Accountant and Payroll supervisor for Milford Shoe Company. Will was a member of Paxton Post 306, American Legion. The funeral will be held Monday, October 6th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Worcester, with a mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 5th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
