Virginia V. (Limoli) Bennett, Silva, 87, of Peabody, formerly of 1112 West Boylston St. Passed away Thursday, August 14th in the North Shore Medical Center, Salem. Virginia's first husband, Edward F. Bennett Sr. passed away in 1963, a son Edward F. Bennett, Jr. passed away in February of 2007. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Cirino Silva; two sons, Wayne D. Bennett and his wife Patricia of Brockton; Manuel Silva and his wife Laura in Missouri; a daughter in law, Diane Bennett of Worcester; six grandchildren; Timothy S., Terrance, and Michael Bennett, Robin Lewis, Daniel and Grace Silva; nieces and nephews. A brother, Joseph Limoli, and three sisters, Josephine Rossi, Helen Derosier, and Mary Zamejtek also pre decease her. Virginia was born in Shrewsbury, a daughter of Mario and Maria (Caravalho) Limoli. She graduated from Major Beal High school in Shrewsbury and lived many years on West Boylston Street before moving to Peabody. Virginia worked many years as a printer for the Autoroll Printing Company in Danvers before retiring. She was a founding member of St Christopher's Church, a member of the West Boylston Post 319 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved the time spent with her family and especially her grandchildren. Virginia was also an enthusiastic sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. The funeral will be held Monday, August 18th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Worcester with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will follow in Mt View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 17th in the funeral home.
