Stella H. (Boltruczyk) Mezynski, 80, of Worcester, passed away Sunday, July 27th in the Lutheran Healthcare Center after a long illness. Stella is survived by her husband of 60 years Vincent T. Mezynski; her devoted children, Linda Gustafson and her husband Waino of Worcester, Gary Mezynski and his wife Rosemary of Burlington, MA, and James Mezynski of Bangor, ME; a brother, Edward Boltruczyk; three sisters, Helen Paquet, Jean Dumas, and Florence Randell all of Worcester; five grandchildren, Daniel and Sara Gustafson, Laura, Lillian and Catherine Mezynski; and many nieces and nephews. Stella was born in Worcester, a daughter of Anthony and Hedwig (Kowaleski) Boltruczyk. She graduated from Commerce High School and Salter's Secretarial School and lived in Worcester all her life. Stella worked at St. John's High School, David Clark Company, and Dapol Plastics. Stella was a loving woman who was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with them. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stella's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
