Valentino "Val" Clemente, 58, of Holden died unexpectedly Thursday May 22, 2008,after becoming ill at home. "Val" is survived by his devoted wife of thirty five years Monalisa (Teso) Clemente, his mother Nicoletta (Lapriore) Clemente of Vieste, Italy, his loving children; Nikki Clemente-Moon and her husband Jason of Alexandria,VA. Pasquale "PJ" Clemente and his wife Stacy of Millbury, Kristy Berry and her husband Nate of West Boylston, and Tiffany Culberson and her husband Corey of Rutland, three grandchildren, Alexandra, Olivia, and Isabella, and a fourth granddaughter to come into the world shortly. "Val" is also survived by his father in law and mother in law Sal and Mary (Errede) Teso. Valentino is also survived by a brother Girolomo Clemente and his wife Michelina of Vieste,Italy, and a sister Appolonia Impagnatiello and her husband Rafael of Vercelli, Italy, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.His father was the late Pasquale Clemente. Valentino was born January 1, 1950 in Vieste, Italy and came to the United States many years ago, "Val" was the founder and owner of The Clemente Dental Lab,which he opened in 1975. He changed the name to Mouthworks Inc in 1981, and was still working at the time of his passing. "Val" was a member of St. Mary's Church, in Jefferson, and a long time member of The East Side Improvement Club, The Knights of Columbus, and the Brown Square Civic Club. Valentino loved going to the beach, making his own wine, but most of all being with his granddaughters, and family. He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends. "Val's funeral will be held Tuesday May 27, from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:AM in St Mary Church 114 Princeton St. Jefferson. Calling hours in the funeral home are from 5-8PM on Monday May 26.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to establish a Trust for the grandchildren.
