Theresa (Scotti) Andersen 88, of Shrewsbury, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008, in her home after being stricken ill. Born in Shrewsbury, Theresa was the daughter of Lucia (Villata) Scotti and John Scotti. She moved to Worcester at the age of 2 and back to Shrewsbury in 1953. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1937. Her husband of 55 years, George Andersen passed away in 1993. Theresa is survived by two daughters, Karen Horrigan and her husband Robert of Holden, Priscilla Benson and her husband Roy of Shrewsbury; five grandchildren, Susan, James, John, Stephen and Nancy; nine great grandchildren, Ali, Rose, Natalie, Timothy, Christopher, Amanda, Katherine, William and Avery; many nieces and nephews. A grandson Jeffery Benson, a sister, Margaret Bean, and two brothers, John Scotti and Clement Pocketino all pre deceased her. Theresa worked many years for Worcester Polytechnic Institute retiring in 1985. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Shrewsbury. The Shrewsbury Historical Society, the Shrewsbury Senior Center Club, and the Shrewsbury Friends Society. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, 5 Church St. Shrewsbury. Burial will at the convenience of the family in Mt.
