Teresa Errede

Teresa Anna (Carlomagno) Errede, 83, of Gates Road in Shrewsbury, died on the morning of Monday, July 7, 2008, at the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton, with family by her side, after a short illness. Devoted wife of Michael Errede, with whom she shared fifty eight years of marriage. Loving mother to Maureen Bumann of Lunennburg and Joseph Errede of Londonderry, New Hampshire; loving mother in law to Eric Bumann and Lisa Errede; Cherished grandmother of Joseph M. Liberty and Nicholas Errede; dear sister to Bernard and Joseph Carlomagno and Anna Goodney. She was born December 9, 1925, in Worcester to Bernard and Michelina (DeSanti) Carlomagno. Teresa was pre-deceased by her brother Paul Carlomagno. Teresa lived most of her life in Shrewsbury, MA, where she was an avid gardener. She loved celebrating holidays and was happiest when she was cooking and spending time with her family. Teresa was a Eucharistic Minister for thirty-seven years at Saint Mary's Parish in Shrewsbury, where she touched so many lives over the years. She was respected and loved by everyone she came in contact with. We will always remember her jovial laugh, sunny disposition, and she will be forever in our hearts. The funeral for Teresa will be held Thursday, July 10, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, immediately prior to departing for church.
