Susanne Vaudreuil

Susanne M. (Grenache) Vaudreuil, 59, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, March 20th at UMass Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Susanne is survived by her devoted children, Laurie A. Vaudreuil and Michael D. Vaudreuil, both of Worcester, and Charlene L. Hopkins and her husband Dana of West Boylston; her parents, Rudolph J. and Gisele M. (Bousquet) Grenache of Dennis; a brother, Rudolph J. Grenache, Jr. and his wife Helen of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Miguel, Lareasa, Eric, Christiana, Michael, Lianna and Tyler; and many nieces and nephews. Her sister, Nancy Grenache, predeceased her. She was born and raised in Shrewsbury and Worcester. Susanne owned and operated her family's retail business, Worcester Radio & Speedometer, at 455 Lincoln St. in Worcester for the last 16 years. She joined her father at the age of 12 years old as his bookkeeper and worked there for over 45 years. She was proud of carrying out her family's tradition of working with the public ~ real people who she took pride in serving, and some of whom she formed long-lasting friendships. Susanne was best known and took pride in being a devoted Mom and Nana ~ a daughter, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother for which she will always be remembered and cherished. She was a vibrant woman and her memories will shine bright and live on in the hearts of her entire family. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
