Steven Arger, 88, of Worcester passed away, Wednesday, July 9th 2008 in the St. Vincent Hospital after being stricken earlier. Steven's wife Olga (Koskinas) Arger passed away in 1986. He is survived by his daughters, Connie Cappabianca and her husband Michael, Patricia Fields and her husband Richard both of Worcester; six grandchildren, Rhonda, Cherrise, Dina, Richard, Michael, Jr. and Craig; 12 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. Steven was born in Korce, Albania, one of four children born to Raphael and Constantina Arger. He lived in Worcester and for a period of time in Canada before returning to Worcester. Steven was a baker for over 45 years for the Table Talk Pie Company before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary Albanian Orthodox church, the Bakery and Confectionary workers International Union. He enjoyed spending time and having lunch at McDonald's with his family. Steven's funeral will be held Saturday, July 12th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church, 497 Salisbury St.. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held Saturday, July 12th from 9:15 to 10:15 am prior to the funeral.
