Stacia T. "Bunny" (Wojtowicz) Beando, 87, formerly of Division Street, Worcester, passed away, Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in The Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester. Her husband, Louis J. Beando, pre-deceased her in 1983. Stacia leaves her son, James A. Biando and his wife Kathy of Auburn; a daughter, Joanne Bradeen of Washington, D.C.; for grandchildren, Julie, Donna, Christine, and Bobby; three great grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, and April; many nieces and nephews. A son, Richard J. Beando, pre-deceased her. She was also pre-deceased by two brothers, Benjamin Wojtowicz and Joseph Warren as well as a sister, Marion Rasco. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Baltromiej and Tusefa (Knatowicz) Wojtowicz, and graduated from Worcester Girl's Trade. Mrs. Beando worked for many years at Thom McCann in Worcester, having previously worked at the former W.T. Grant Department Store in Worcester, retiring there at head cashier. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, and enjoyed playing B.I.N.G.O. The funeral for Stacia will be held Friday, December 14, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Chruch, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the funeral home, immediately prior to departing for church.
