Rose M. (Notarangelo) Nuzzolilo, 87, of Worcester, died peacefully Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in the UMASS Memorial Hospital, Belmont St. surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Charles Q. Nuzzolilo died in 1994. Rose is survived by her son, John A. Nuzzolilo of Worcester; a brother, Ralph Notarangelo and his wife Charlotte of Worcester; a grandson, Mark, and granddaughter, Angela, and a great-grandson, Justin; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, John Notarangelo, and two sisters, Mary Notarangelo and Antoinette Nuzzolilo. Rose was born in Worcester daughter of Lorenzo and Gelsomina (Solitro) Notarangelo and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Rose worked at D'Errico's Market on Shrewsbury St for over 30 years before she retired. She was a life member of Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church, it's Golden Years Club, and the Womens Guild. Rose was also a member of the former Catholic Daughters Of America. She will be missed by her family and friends. Rose's funeral will be held Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 8:30AM to 10:30AM prior to leaving for church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd. Rockland, MD.
