Rose Morin

May 27, 1920 — April 3, 2008

Rose M. (Lapolito) Morin, 87, formerly of 101 Chadwick Street, died peacefully Thursday April 3, in the Knollwood Nursing Home. Her husband Donald Morin died in 1987. Rose is survived by two son's Robert Morin and his wife Sandy of Pittsburgh, Andrew Morin of Worcester, three daughters Janice Allen and her husband Kenneth of Ashburnham, Sandra Pultorak, and Donna Deitrich and her husband Derrick. Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters Phyllis Dell'Olio, and Mary Tomaiolo both of Worcester, and a brother Frank Lapolito of Las Vegas. Several nephews and nieces. Rose was born in Worcester daughter of Andrea and Lucrezia (LaVolpicello) Lapolito and lived in Oxford for many years before moving to Worcester. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Rose worked for the W.T Grant Company for many years. She enjoyed being a home maker. She loved to read, cook, and enjoyed sewing. Rose was a former member of St. Joan Of Arc Church. A prayer service will be held Saturday April 5, at 10:30AM in the Mausoleum of St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Those attending are asked go directly to the Mausoleum. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St is assisting the family with arrangements.
