Rose M. (Maniero) Abysalh, of Worcester, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully, Monday, March 3rd 2008 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence surrounded by her devoted family. Rose's husband of 56 years, Louie G. Abysalh passed away in 1995. She is survived by her beloved and dedicated children; Janice L. Romano and her husband Joseph of Worcester; George C. Abysalh and his wife Nancy of Dudley; her three cherished grandchildren: Jason G. Abysalh and his wife Carrie, Jonathan C. Abysalh and his wife Kimberly all of Sturbridge, and Gina M. Absaylh of Dudley; an adored great grand daughter, Emma Rose; numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents Carmino and Philomena (Paldino) Maniero as well as two brothers, Frank C. and Angelo J. Maniero pre deceased her. She was a graduate of Worcester Fanning Trade School and a life long resident of Worcester. Rose was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, its women's guild and Golden Years. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Loreto Church, its women's guild and Leisure club. She was a member of the Lodge 168, Order Sons of Italy, the Guild of Our Lady of Providence and the Beato Angelo Women's Club. Her well known talent was dressmaking, with an outstanding reputation as a superb cook and baker of Italian and Lebanese cuisine. Rose's funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Thursday March, 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the CHURCH.
