Matthew Boraccini, 79, of Worcester passed away Sunday, December 2nd in the University of Massachusetts Hospital. Matthew is survived by his longtime companion Carol Redmond and her two daughters, Lisa and Gina Redmond; two sons, Wayne Boraccini of Auburn and Thomas Gosler of Anderson, Indiana; two sisters, Grace Gentile and Rose Demoga both of Worcester; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his former wife Mary (Meyers) Boraccini of Worcester: many nieces and nephews. A brother Frank and two sisters, Mary Conte and Ann Williams pre deceased him. Matthew was born in Worcester his parents were the late Joseph and Grace (Frecenda) Boraccini. Matt served in the Merchant Marine and the U.S. Army during World War II. Matthew worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 170, driving for Various Trucking Companies over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of The Italian American Post 3, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
