Lynn J. "Lenny" McManaman, 68, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 8th, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Lenny is survived by his devoted wife and partner of 44 years, Linda (Kowalski) McManaman; two sons, John McManaman and his wife Barbara of Charlton, Edward J. McManaman; a daughter, Patricia Arsenault and her husband Kenneth of Worcester; two sisters, Judy Goodson of Medina Ohio, and Patricia Schultz of Adams, Wisconsin; seven cherished grandchildren; three adored great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Lenny was the son of John and Eleanor (Hendle) McManaman and has lived in Worcester more than 30 years. Prior to retirement, Lenny worked as a meat cutter over 45 years for various grocery stores including, Shaws, Price Right and Iandoli's Markets. Lenny enjoyed working around his house, visiting with family and friends and spending time with his special German Shepard "Rosie". He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 12th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial in Mt View Cemetery, Shrewsbury will be private. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 11th in the funeral home.
