Luigi Feraco, 69, of Coburn Avenue in Worcester, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007. He leaves his wife of nearly forty-five years, Giuseppa (Altomari) Feraco; a son, Giuseppe "Joe" Feraco of Worcester; a daughter, Grace Feraco in Salerno, Italy; two sisters in Italy; many nieces and nephews. Luigi was born in Acri, Italy son of Giuseppe and Filomena (Ferraro) Feraco; where he was educated and married his beloved wife, before moving to Worcester in 1969. Mr. Feraco worked as a Welder for many years at Worcester School Furniture Company, before he retired. He attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. The funeral for Luigi will be held Wednesday, December 19, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 18, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
