Louise M. (Alliegro) Motta, 100 of Randolph Road in Worcester, passed away, Friday, January 18, 2008, with her loving family at her side, in The Odd Fellows Home in Worcester. Her beloved husband of sixty years, Salvatore E. Motta, predeceased her in March of 1998. Louise leaves her beloved son Ronald A. Motta and his wife Mary Louise of Worcester; a grand daughter, Stephanie Motta and her boyfriend Chris Brown of Worcester; two grandsons, Christopher Motta and his girl friend Alene Bacon of Grafton and Lee Motta and his wife Laura of Worcester; a step granddaughter, Sarah Galvin and her husband Patrick of Worcester; two step grandsons, Paul T. Walker and his wife Jeanne of Nashua, NH, and Jason T. Walker of Worcester; four great grandsons, Christopher and Evan Motta of Grafton, Thomas Galvin of Worcester, and Connor Walker of Nashua; many nieces and nephews, including Phyllis Zehro of Queens, NY. Louise was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of Italian immigrants, Raffaele and Therisina (Vigliante) Alliegro. Her father passed away while she was an infant, and her mother married Michele Rizzo, who raised Louise as his own daughter. Louise lived most of her life in Brooklyn, where she was a member of Saint Athanasius Church, and it's Rosarian Society. The Motta family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Louise was given at the Odd Fellows Home. They truly made it feel like home. The funeral for Louise will be held Thursday, January 24, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of The Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester. Interment services will be held Friday, January 25, at 1 p.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patient Activity Fund in care of The Odd Fellows Home, 104 Randolph Road, Worcester, MA 01604.
