Latrell Barnes

Latrell (Alford) Barnes, 62, of Worcester, dedicated mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed into the arms of the Lord, Saturday, January 26th 2008. Latrell is survived by her children, Sarah Barnes with whom she lived, Tracy Barnes and William Barnes both of Rochester, New York; Her mother Eldora (Brooken) Alford, who lived with her; two brothers, Robert J Alford of Worcester and Harold Alford of Oxford; three sisters, Gloria Larkin and Velma Jenkins both of Worcester, and Sandra Troy of Washington; Many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. two brothers, Larry and Carl Alford pre deceased her. Latrell was born in Sylvester, Georgia; her father was the late Leroy Alford. She came to Worcester in 1969, attended Quinsigamond Community College. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Thursday, January 31st from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Hope Cemetery.
