Jean S. Brennan, 77, of Holden passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 26th surrounded by her family in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. Her husband Paul V. Brennan Sr. died in 1992. Jean is survived by her loving family, a son Paul V. Brennan Jr. and his companion Sandra Kilroy of Holden, a daughter Patricia M Senior of Worcester, three brothers Louis Latino and his wife Julia of Auburn, Sylvio Latino and his wife Claire of Worcester, and John Latino and his wife Joan of Auburn and one sister Sara Lavin of Auburn, and a sister in law Shirley Latino of Worcester. Jean is also survived by five grandchildren, Meghan, Michael, and Keith Senior, and Andrew and Shana Brennan, and a great granddaughter Gabrielle, many loving nephews and nieces who were such a very important part of her life. Jean was predeceased by a son Stephen Brennan in 1980, three brothers Joseph and his wife Katherine, Charles and his wife Francis, and Salvatore, two sisters Anna Dattis and her husband Tony, and Eva Hill and her husband Vincent also predeceased her. Jean was born in Worcester daughter of the late Carlo and Maria (Castellana) Latino and lived in Millbury for many years before moving to Holden. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and worked for the State Mutual Insurance Company, now Allmerica Financial for over twenty five years as a Supervisor of Agent Contracts in the Marketing Division and Senior Administrative Secretary to the Vice President of Individual Marketing, before she retired. Jean was a life time member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church, and it's Golden Years Club. The Italian American Cultural Center and the Cristoforo Columbus Lodge #168 Son's Of Italy in America. Jean was also a frequent guest of the Red Hat Society in Shrewsbury. She volunteered her time and generosity tirelessly for all these organizations she proudly belonged to. She loved to bake and cook, but her most precious time was spent with her children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and wonderful in-laws. She will always be remembered lovingly by her family and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with Jean's family, Wednesday, February 27th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. A Time of personal reflection will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the church. Jean's funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in care of VNA, 120 Thomas St. Worcester 01608. or the Golden Years Club, 24 Mulberry St. Worcester 01604.
