Janet "Gensie" (Borbone) Kingsbury, 86, of Belmont Street in Worcester, passed away, Monday, June 23, 2008, in Shrewsbury Nursing Home. Her husband, Arthur Kingsbury, pre-deceased her in 1966. Janet is survived by a son, William Kingsbury and his wife Kimetha of Oxford; two daughters, Beverly Sivula and her husband Martin of Spencer, and Patricia Hayes and her husband George of Shrewsbury; a son in law, Lucien Dube of Worceter; twelve grandchildren, Tina, George Jr., Michael, Melissa, Patrick, Karen, Renee, Heather, Eric, Danielle, Matthew, and Ryan; twenty-one great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Joyce Dube, passed away in February of 2005. She was also pre-deceased by a brother, Joseph Borbone, and three sisters, Genevieve Lawrence, Yolanda LaMura, and Sara Doucimo. Gensie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Piscitelli) Borbone, and has lived here all her life. She was a member of Saint Stephen's Church. Janet's funeral will be held Friday, June 27, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery Worcester. Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 26, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
