September 24, 1942 — April 10, 2008

Gerald J. "Gerry the Barber" 65, of Grafton passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 10th in South Yarmouth surrounded by his loving family. Gerry's wife Patricia (LaForest) Ferraiuolo passed away in 1996. Gerry is survived by his mother, Theresa F. (Bianco) Ferraiuolo of Worcester; a brother Ronald Ferraiuolo and his wife Linda of South Dennis and Winter Haven, Florida; a sister, Susan Clouatre and her husband Joseph of N. Grafton; a son, John, a daughter Gina and a grandson Lance all in Spokane, Washington; a longtime companion Peggy; Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. A brother, Joseph passed away in 2003, his father Fred J. Ferraiuolo passed away many years ago. He was born in Worcester, attended Commerce High and graduated from Boston Barber Academy and lived in Worcester until moving to Grafton 15 years ago. Gerry worked many years as a Barber for Jim's Barber Shop in Worcester before retiring. He previously worked as a Barber for his Uncle, Nat Cosenza, at the former Mayflower Hotel in Worcester. Gerry loved to tinker with cars, and was always ready to help anyone and in any place that asked him. Funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial park in Paxton will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
