Frank Colorio, 83, formerly of 50 Shrewsbury St. died peacefully Sunday March 16, 2008 in the UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus. Frank is survived by a sister Laurentina Brigley of Worcester, and several nephews and nieces among them Shirley Pedone of Shrewsbury, and Pauline Hunt of Glastonbury Ct. Frank was predeceased by two brothers Biagio and Anthony Colorio, and a sister Rose Carter. Frank was born in Worcester son of the late Dominic and Rose (Peluso) Colorio and lived here all his life. He worked at the former Worcester City Hospital in the Shipping and Receiving Department for many years before he retired. Frank was a life member of Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church. He was an avid sports fan, and loved watching the Red Sox. He will be missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held Wednesday in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St, at 12 noon with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery A calling hour will be held from 11AM to 12 noon.
