Edward V. 'Ed" Hill Jr. 39 of Brookfield died unexpectedly Tuesday January 15, 2008 at home.Edward is survived by his devoted family; his wife of two years, Marie (Risolo) Hill, a son Edward V. Hill of Connecticut, two daughters, Amber and Jade Hill, his parents Edward Sr. and Jacqueline (MacKay) Hill, one brother Bryan and his wife Joyce, and a sister Darlene Boucher and her husband Alan,and his mother in law Jacqueline (Sullivan) Risolo, several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Gregory Hill. Edward was born in Springfield Massachusetts and lived there most of his life before moving to Worcester eight years ago. He was a graduate of Longmeadow High School, and the Art Institute of Boston. Ed worked in the sales department at his families company, Imperial Worldwide Inc.for many years and was still working there at the time of his death. He began his career there as a young boy. Edward was a gifted artist that started at a very early age, by eight years old he had several paintings finished and was recognized by the Springfield News. Ed also enjoyed fishing, but was most happy when he was enjoying his children and family. He will be missed by all his friends and family. Edwards funeral will be held Saturday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM in St Peters Church 921 Main St. Calling hours in the funeral home are 5-8PM on Friday.
