Dorothy Locantore

Dorothy A. (Turco) Locantore, 75, of Worcester died peacefully Monday March 31, 2008 in Saint Vincent Hospital with her family around her. Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband of fifty one years Anthony F. Locantore, two loving sons, Paul Anthony Locantore of Worcester, and Anthony Paul Locantore and his companion Donna Krikorian of Sturbridge. Dorothy also leaves two sisters, Rae Bogigian of Peabody, and Peggy Simoncini of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by six sisters, Christine Massiello, Nancy Giacobbi, Rose Ricardi, Mary Fortunato, Ann Porcaro, and Yolanda Consiglio, and two brothers Henry and Charles Turco. Dorothy was born in Worcester daughter of the late Joseph and Bombina (Terranova) Turco and lived here all her life. Dorothy attended Commerce High School, and enjoyed being a home maker. Dorothy was a life member of Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church.She enjoyed her home and being with her family. She will be missed by her family and friends. Dorothy's funeral will be held Thursday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours in the funeral home are 6-8PM on Wednesday. Interment will be in St John's Cemetery.
