Cecil M. Julius, 67, of Gardner, passed away, Saturday, April 12, 2008 in the Veterans Hospice Homestead, Fitchburg. He leaves his daughter, Angel Christina Titus of Worcester; two sons, Anthony Julius of Queens, New York and Ricardo Titus of Worcester; a brother Kevin Julius; two sisters, Mercedes Townsend of New York and Elizabeth Stevenson of Georgia; a cherished grandson, David C. Titus of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. Cecil was born on April 5, 1941 in St. Kitts, son of the late Montgomery and Maria (Williams) Julius and has lived in Gardner since the early 80's. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a rock blaster and was a farm keeper for several farms in the Whitinsville and Hudson area. Cecil had a love for animals and was a natural born artist, displaying most of his work at Mount Wachusett Community College and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 A.M. in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
