Cecelia G. (Gremo) Moccia, 80, of Douglas Road in Oxford, formerly of Grafton, passed away, Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Millbury Healthcare. Her husband, Michael F. Moccia, pre-deceased her in 1977. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Moccia of Oxford; two sons, Salvatore D. Moccia and his wife Diana L Moccia of Mashpee and Michael A. Moccia of Naples, Florida; three brothers, Ralph Gremo of Millbury, Thomas Gremo and Michael Gremo both of Worcester; a sister, Elsie Moquin of Millbury; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Crispino, Nicholas, Anthony, and Joseph Gremo, as well as a sister, Philomena Begonis-Lynch, pre-deceased her. Cecelia was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ralph and Carmella (Marrandino) Gremo, where she grew up, before moving with her husband to Grafton, to raise their family. She later moved to Mashpee on Cape Cod, before return to this area. Cecelia worked as a cashier at the former Bradlee's Store in White City, having previously worked as assistant manager of the Hallmark Store in the Auburn Mall. She was a former member of Saint Mary's Church in Grafton and the Mashpee Senior Citizens. At forty years of age, Cecelia was working as a runway and photo model. She enjoyed cooking, home making, and being a grandmother. She was the most fabulous mother in the world. The funeral for Cecelia will be held Friday, July 12, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 9 a.m., in the church where she married, Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester.
