Beatrice J. "Bea" (Giangaspro) Vincequere, 83, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Thursday May 1st in her home surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Bea is survived by her husband and partner of 63 years, Lazarus J. "Larry" Vincequere; her four devoted children, James Vincequere and his wife Paula of Shrewsbury; Elaine Duquette of San Diego, Mary Ann Howe and her husband John J. Howe of Ft. Lauderdale, Doralee Desper and her husband Kenneth J. Desper of Cherry Valley; eight cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey Keenan, Philip, Jacqueline and Mark Hollyer, Marc, Eric and Jamie Vincequere, Andrea Plante and her husband Alan; Two great grandsons, Alexander and Jimmy; many nieces and nephews. A son, Francis Vincequere passed away in 1997. A brother Michael Giangaspro passed away in 2002. Bea was born in Worcester, daughter of Francesco and Dora (Cancellaro) Giangaspro. She graduated from Commerce high school in 1941 and worked more than 20 years as a Mental Health Assistant for the Westboro State Hospital before retiring. Bea, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed the simplicity of caring for and being with her family. To her, family was everything and those special times were her joy. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. An enthusiastic bowler; Bea bowled in leagues more than 20 years at Town & Country lanes in Shrewsbury and Thunderbird lanes in Auburn. Bea's funeral will be held Tuesday, May 6th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 5th in the funeral home.
