Beatrice Pedone

Beatrice M. (Incutto) Pedone, 85, of Worcester died unexpectedly Tuesday January 1, 2008 in the UMASS Medical Center after becoming ill at home. Her husband Angelo J. "Spike" Pedone died in 1987. Beatrice is survived by her loving son's James M. Pedone and his wife Susan of Holden and Michael R. Pedone of Worcester. Her beloved sister Rita Penny and her husband Francis; three adoring grandchildren; James Jr. Richard J. and Matthew J Pedone; a great grand daughter, Sofia; many dear nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by three brothers Joseph, Frank, and William Incutto, and five sisters, Congetta Triola, Angelina Fazio, Auralia Deeb, Stella Vuona, and Lena Fredricks. Beatrice was born in Worcester September 11, 1922, daughter of Michael and Anna Maria (Peluso) Incutto and has lived here all her life. She attended Worcester Public Schools. Beatrice was an Instructional Assistant for the City of Worcester School Department for many years before she retired. She was a long time active member of Our Lady of Loreto Church, where she could always be counted on for helping in her church's functions. She loved to cook, bake, travel, and enjoyed a good shopping spree. But her most precious times were with her children, grand and great grandchildren, her sister and brother in law, and all her loving nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. Beatrice's funeral will be held Saturday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church 33 Massasoit Rd. Calling hours will be held Friday (tonight) from 4PM to 8PM in the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. John's Mausoleum.
