Angeline I. (Paldino) Bowden, 79, of Worcester, passed away, Friday, June 13, 2008 in her home with her family beside her. She leaves two sons, Benjamin Michael and Domenic Joseph Bowden both of Shrewsbury; five daughters, Anita C. Revah of West Palm Peach, FL, Deborah I. Sapp of Oxford, Linda Bowden of Oxford, Patricia R. Loconto of Shrewsbury and Maria Minkema of Worcester; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Louise Amorello. Angeline was born in Worcester on June 25, 1928, to the daughter of the late Domenic and Irene (Springla) Paldino. She graduated from Sacred Academy, received her diploma in fashion designs from The School of Fashion Design, Boston. She later attended classes in medical secretary. Angeline grew up in Worcester, later moving to New York, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, then Shrewsbury, moving back to Worcester in 1989. She worked as the secretary for Fr. Michael Pierce at Holy Cross College. Angeline enjoyed sewing, making jewelry and loved Astrology. Angeline's funeral will be held Tuesday, June 17th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 16th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
