Adel Aroushan, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Adel was born in Damascus, Syria to Razoouk and Mary Aroushan. He loved to share the stories of his past travels with his daughters and grandchildren and was always cracking jokes to put a smile on all their faces.
Adel is survived by his wife of 56 years, Samieh Ghanem and five daughters, Rima Houssan (Joseph) of Millbury, Roula Chanis (Christopher) of Spencer, Mary Aroushan of Millbury, Mirvat Robinson (David) of Grafton and Souhair McDonald (Ronald) of Shrewsbury. He was a wonderful grandfather to nine grandchildren: Colette, Gabrielle, Levanagh, Elias, Alex, Annalise, Lily, Isabella, and Sofia. He is also survived by his two sisters, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews across Syria and the United States.
The family has chosen to celebrate Adel’s life in a private ceremony. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
