Jane Turley

Alice J. “Jane” Turley, 80 of Mendon, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Milford Regional Hospital.

Jane was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI., a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Alice Elizabeth (Haywood) Turley. She was raised in Palmer, MA and graduated from Palmer High School. She attended St. Lawrence University where she majored in English and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Jane was a well-known and very successful realtor and real estate broker for various companies retiring in 2016 from her company Jane Turley Associates. An avid reader and gardener, there was not a houseplant she could not nurse back to life. Jane was a huge animal lover, especially of her cats. She was also a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan. Jane also cherished her time spent on Cape Cod.

Jane’s husband of 31 years, John M. Reynard passed away in January of 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Alice E. Sutcliffe and her husband Scott of Mendon, with whom she resided with for the past two years; her son, Todd P. Morey and his wife Lisa of Sandown, NH; two grandchildren, Dan Morey of Derry, NH and Dylan Morey of Bend, OR., two step-grandchildren, Elijah Sutcliffe of Cumberland, RI and Anna Sutcliffe of Proctor, VT; her stepdaughter, Kathy Reynard and stepson Chris Reynard, both of Framingham; a great grandson, Parker Morey and a step-great granddaughter Aubrey Jones; two brothers, Patrick Turley and his wife Annabelle of Palmer, Thomas Turley of Jamestown, RI; a sister Marcia Degnan and her husband Donald of Palmer, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Turley and a sister, Judith Turley.

A Celebration of Jane’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1-3 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately.
