Ana Hilda Garcia, 63, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Ana was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, on October 11, 1960, one of thirteen children to the late Modesto and Maria (Dones) Garcia.
Ana worked as a home health aide and a certified nurse’s aide for various nursing homes and companies throughout her career before her retirement. She was calm, patient, funny and always happy. Ana had a huge personality and was a beautiful person who loved to cook. She will forever be remembered by her children as the “best mother in the world.”
Ana is survived by her loving daughters, Maria Morales and her husband David of Kissimmee, FL. and Lismeraida Vega of Worcester; a son, Honorio Lisboa of Worcester; the father of her children, Honorio Lisboa, Sr. of Florida; thirteen adored grandchildren and her first great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sadly, in addition to her parents, Ana was predeceased by a son-in-law, Carmelo Vega.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Ana on Friday, August 30, 2024, at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester with calling hours from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by her funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
