Angelina (D'Elia) Pepin

September 22, 1922 — June 17, 2019

 Angelina A. (D’Elia) Pepin, 96, of Worcester died peacefully surrounded by her loving family Monday June 17, 2019 in the Beaumont of Northbridge. Her husband Joseph D. Pepin died in 2006. Angelina is survived by her devoted son’s, Louis P. Pepin and his wife Nancy of Whitinsville and Joseph A. Pepin and his wife Christine of Douglas. Angelina was the proud grandmother to Nicole, Lisa, David, Lindsey, Matthew and Michael. She also leaves 8 great grandchildren. Among her close extended family she leaves a brother and sister in law Roland and Cora Girard, and sister in law Sis D’Elia, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers Joseph and Alfred D’Elia, and four sisters Lucy Hamilton, Grace Ventresca, Mary Silvestri and Rose Sachetto.

Angelina was born in Worcester daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Grella) D’Elia and lived here all her life. She attended Worcester public schools. Angie did food preparation for several Nursing Homes and St. Vincent’s Hospital and also did private home elder care.  In her younger years she was a seamstress for the Renda Clothes Company where she also Modeled their latest fashions. Angelina really treasured being a homemaker for her family.

 Angelina was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann, and Our Lady of Loreto Church. She like to crochet and Knit beautiful Afghans. She was a great cook and baker. Angelina had a beautiful voice and enjoyed playing the organ and singing. She was a much loved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, and Sister who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Angelina’s funeral will be held on Friday June 21, 2019 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with A Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto 33 Massasoit Rd. A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9AM to 10:30AM in the funeral home prior to the Mass. Interment with her husband will be in St. Johns Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Food Bank at Our Lady of Loreto Church at the above address or St; Johns Food Pantry 20 Temple St. Worc. Ma.01604.
