On Christmas Day in 2003, a very special Rat Terrier was born in Iowa. He came to Massachusetts shortly thereafter and joined his adventurous mother for a life of luxury that lasted 15 glorious years. They moved often, finally settling in a little house in Shrewsbury where he had beds in almost every room and his own flat screen TV. He never missed the Puppy Bowl or an opportunity to sleep in front of the fire. He loved car rides and sleeping in the sun.
Angus was named O’Malley for his Irish heritage and Garcia in honor of the Grateful Dead. His personality reflected both cultures and he clearly enjoyed every minute of his long strange trip. This little man loved the beaches of Martha’s Vineyard, fish and chips, his treats from the gas station, and Hershey’s kisses. He relished Oreos, ice cubes, Dairy Queen sundaes and stealing his mother's coffee. He wore designer clothes, saw Santa every year and could destroy a squeaky toy in under two minutes.
Angus is predeceased by his rescue brother Shiloh McTavish Rosenbaum, his beloved grandmother Marguerite Shaw and his special uncle Arthur Douylliez.
He leaves behind his heartbroken mother, Dr. Suzanne Shaw, and his special family at the Doggie Den in Northborough. Sincere thanks go to the wonderful staff at Banfield Pet Hospital in Northborough, especially his Vet Tech Amber, for the excellent care he received.
