Anne F. (Masterson) Curley, 56, of Worcester passed away with her devoted husband by her side, Saturday December 4th, 2021, after suffering a medical incident days earlier. Anne was born in Worcester, a daughter of William K. and Rita A (Sullivan) Masterson. Raised in Worcester, she attended Salem State College and earned her bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University. She married, Michael D. Curley and spent the past 31 years dedicated to each other. Anne worked over 30 years as an activities director for various retirement and nursing facilities including Southgate in Shrewsbury and St Mary’s Healthcare in Worcester. She is survived her husband Michael; two sons, Kevin W Curley and his longtime girlfriend Amanda of Palmer, and Brian Curley with the United States Air Force; a brother, Phillip Masterson in Paxton and a sister, Marie Shea in Florida; nieces, nephews, extended families and friends. A brother, Frank Masterson predeceased her. In Annes life, nothing came before her husband and children. They were her life’s inspiration and her life’s dedication. She enjoyed playing Keno, attending and supporting her son’s activities, Her husband’s interest and competition in Midget Cars sport racing and just being a wife and Mom. Calling hours for Anne will be held Sunday, December 12th from 2 pm to 5 pm followed by a prayer service in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be private. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Activities fund, care of St Mary’s Healthcare, Queen St Worcester.
