Anthony J Campanile

April 14, 1961 — August 24, 2023

Anthony “Tony” J. Campanile, Jr., 62, of Worcester passed away suddenly on August 24, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, after being stricken ill at home. He was the beloved son of Angela (D’Onofrio) Campanile of Worcester and the cherished brother of Juliann Ciuffredo (Leonard) and Vincent Campanile, both of Worcester. He also leaves behind his nieces, Bianca and Geena Ciuffredo, his uncle, Joseph D’Onofrio, many cousins, his father, Anthony J.Campanile, and stepbrother Joseph Campanile.  

Tony was a 1979 graduate of the former Worcester Boys’ Trade School, where he enjoyed playing football. He loved the simple things in life, and his faith was everything to him. He was a wonderful son who was dedicated to caring for his mother.

An hour of visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, in Saint Anne’s Parish, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Tony’s funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 am, followed by interment in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester.
