Anthony J. Krow

Anthony “Tony” J. Krow, 48, of Worcester passed away on October 13, 2021, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Tony was born on June 3, 1973, in West Reading, Pennsylvania and was preceded in death by his mother, Lynda M. (Pasquella) Krow. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Beth A. (Rochefort) Krow and their son, Dominic and daughter, Isabella Krow; his father, Ronald J. Krow and his stepmother Sally J. Krow; a sister, Jacalyn (Krow) Martin and her fiancé Jeffrey Surozenski; a stepbrother, Sean Carroll; two nieces, Laci Martin and Christina (Casali) Eliason and her husband Nathan and their children Haiden and Michael; a nephew, Casey Martin; his mother in-law, Elaine (McLaughlin) Rochefort and a brother in-law, Matthew Rochefort. He is predeceased by his father in-law, Dennis Rochefort, Sr., brother in-law, Dennis Rochefort, Jr., and his beloved dog Carmela. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Tony and his family moved to Ashland, Massachusetts when he was a child and he grew up there. Tony graduated from Marian High School in 1991, Framingham State College in 1998, and Massachusetts Bay Community College in 2000, majoring in sociology and criminal justice. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Tony was the Deputy Director / Administrative Lieutenant for the Department of Public Safety and Police for Assumption University. He has been with the department for 22 years. Tony was an avid sports fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins. He also enjoyed golfing, poker, and spending time with his family and friends. Services for Tony will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held prior to the funeral service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
