Anthony D. Nardella, Jr., 69, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the Umass-Memorial Hospital.
Anthony was born in Worcester, a son of the late Anthony D. and Mary (Simmarano) Nardella, Sr. He graduated from North High School and has lived on Grafton Hill his entire life. Anthony was a hard worker and worked as a construction manager of R. J. Devereaux Corporation since 1986. Throughout his years working for RJ Devereaux, Anthony hired and mentored many young adults, something he took great pride in and had become extremely important to him. He also gained many friends while working there who he would consider his extended family. Anthony truly believed that everything good that came to him was because of his years working for the corporation.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoyed taking rides with Lyn on his motorcycle and later in his corvette, especially to Narragansett or Truro. He also loved music and notably his family.
Anthony would like to thank all the staff at R.J Devereau Corporation especially Robert and Michael Devereaux and their families, Eleanor and Jim Brennan, Diane Adams, Eleanor Gillette, Amy Famulari, Jennifer McGaffigan, Amanda Cola, and Dan Walsh for their never-ending support as one of his fellow colleagues. He would also like to thank his doctors, Dr. Dan Massarelli, and Dr. Marie Caparso.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doralyn “Lyn” (Johnson) Nardella; two sons, Anthony D. Nardella, III and his wife Stefanie of Leicester, and Adam Nardella of Worcester; a brother, Michael Nardella and his wife Angela of Sutton; a sister, Marilyn Gatti and her husband John of Estero, FL; two grandchildren, Domenic and Alivia; a nephew, Mike Nardella; a niece, Christina Pace, her husband Mark and their daughter Josephine; many wonderful cousins and a host of friends.
