Antonio “Tony” M. Paldino, 89, of Worcester, MA passed away June 22, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital, after a period of declining health. Tony was born on April 22nd, 1934 in Worcester, MA the son of the late Pasquale and Mary (Generelli) Paldino. Tony was the beloved husband of Vincenza Paldino (DiMarzio). Tony is survived by his children, Antonio “Tony” Paldino II and his wife Drusilla, Mark S. Paldino and his wife Linda, Tammy Tortora and her husband Ed. Along with his three sisters Dorothy Lizotte, Bernadette Genatossio and Carolann Tessier. Tony also leaves behind his grandchildren Anthony, Mark, Joseph, Chelsea, Gina, Eddy, and Brianna along with 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by his loving son Domenic Paldino, his 3 brothers Peter, Samuel, and Donald, as well as his older sister Louise. Tony spent 4 years in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, achieving the rank of fourth degree. He was a hard working, self employed man who owned and operated “The Brother’s Three” a bar located in Worcester. Later he loved spending time with his family and was the life of each gathering. He also enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley Davidson. He relished his time in Lighthouse Point, FL with Vincenza at his side, where he eagerly awaited visits from his children and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Christopher House for their compassionate care. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 29 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Tony’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel/Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 37 Massasoit Road, Worcester, with entombment following in St. John’s Cemetery & Mausoleum, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans.
