Attilio Hoxha, 21, of Worcester and Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018, four days before his 22nd birthday.
Attilio leaves his parents, Enkelejd “Leo” and Domenica (Cosentino) Hoxha of Worcester; his brother, Davide Hoxha; his sister, Denise Hoxha, both of Worcester; his girlfriend, Desire D’Ambrogio of Cromwell, CT; his maternal grandmother, Natalina Olivieri wife of the late, Demetrio Cosentino of Palmi, Italy; his paternal grandparents, Besim and Liri Hoxha of Worcester; aunts, Silvana Sherifi of Boston and Anunziata Cosentino in Italy; uncles, Altin Hoxha in Albania, Nino Cosentino, Demetrio Cosentino, and Cosimo Cosentino, all in Italy; many cousins, and friends. He was born in Palmi, Calabria, Italy.
Attilio graduated from South High School and Quinsigamond Community College, both in Worcester. He was currently a student at University of Connecticut in Hartford, where he was studying architectural engineering. Attilio loved his family and had a special connection with his girlfriend; he also enjoyed his many friends and his beloved German Shepard, Lucy. He loved his motor cycle and loved going on rides with his “millions” of friends.
In his sister’s words… “Every weekend he came home he would wake me up no matter what time it was, whether it was 6am or 1pm and ask me to go to inhouse with him; of course, I couldn't say “no” because he always paid for me, so why say no to free food?”
He wanted to pursue a career in the medical field after college, and was a volunteer at the Hartford Hospital in CT. He would come home bragging that he felt like he was going to be a doctor and shared of himself at the hospital. He always put others first and made sure everyone else was happy before thinking about himself
